1985 Volvo DL, GL and Turbo Interior light 1 Light always on. 2 Light always off. 3 Light is on when either of the front or rear doors are opened. The wagon model has a slightly different kind of interior lamp housing. On certain models a time delay device illuminates the interior light for approx. 15 seconds after closing the driver's door. This facilitates finding starting (ignition) switch, etc., during darkness. Sunroof (certain models) The sunroof is operated by a handle located between the sun visors. Unfold the handle and turn it counter-clockwise to open, clockwise to close.
