L8/LF Engines Fuel System Fuel Line Removal • A new SST has been introduced to enable the disconnection of the fuel line quick connector used at the fuel pump unit • The quick release connector can be disconnected by pinching the retainer tab with the SST and pulling the connector. M5_01009 1 SST 49 E042 001 • The quick release connectors are fitted with a checker tab that prevents improper fit. This checker tab cannot normally be removed. When the quick release connector is properly connected to the fuel pipe, the lock is released and the checker tab comes off.
