No inhale los gases de escape. Los gases de escape contienen monóxido de carbono, un gas incoloro e inodoro que provoca inconsciencia y muerte por asfixia. Asegúrese de que el sistema de escape no tiene pérdidas. Es conveniente comprobar el sistema de escape siempre que se levante el vehículo para cambiar el aceite o por cualquier otro motivo. Si escucha un cambio en el sonido del escape o si pasa por encima de algo que golpea la parte baja del coche, recomendamos que haga revisar el sistema por un distribuidor Kia autorizado. No ponga en marcha el motor en espacios cerrados. Es peligroso dejar el motor al ralentí dentro de un garaje, aunque la puerta esté abierta. Nunca deje el motor en marcha dentro de un garaje durante más tiempo del necesario para arrancar el motor y sacar el vehículo. Evite mantener el motor al ralentí durante mucho tiempo con personas dentro del coche. Si es necesario dejar el motor al ralentí durante mucho tiempo con gente dentro del coche, hágalo sólo en espacios abiertos, con la toma de aire en posición “Fresh” (aire nuevo) y con el ventilador a alta velocidad de forma que se aporte aire fresco al interr.io Si debe conducir con el portón trasero/maletero abierta por llevar objetos que impidan cerrarla: 1. Cierre todas las ventanillas. 2. Abra las salidas laterales de aire. 3. Ponga el control de entrada de aire en la posición de aire de fuera, dirija el chorro hacia el suelo o hacia la cara y ajuste el ventilador a una de las velocidades más altas. Para garantizar el correcto funcionamiento del sistema de ventilación, asegúrese de que las tomas de aire de ventilación situadas frente al parabrisas se mantienen limpias de nieve, hielo, hojas u otras obstrucciones. 53
