For special applications (e.g. fitting child seats) contact your RE NAULT Dealer. •Donotusedeviceswhichgiveanyslackinthebelts(e.g.clothespegs,clips,etc.):aseatbeltwhichisworntooloosely risks causing injury in the event of an accident. •Neverweartheshoulderstrapunderthearmorbehindtheback. •Never use the same belt for more than one person and never hold a baby or child on your lap with your seat belt around them. •The belt should never be twisted. •Seatbeltsshouldbereplacedafteraseriousaccident.Likewise,replaceyourseatbeltsassoonastheyshowanysigns of wear. •Whenrefitting the rear seats, take care that the seat belts are correctly positioned so that they can be used correctly. •If necessary, readjust the position and tightness of the belt. •Make sure that the tongue is inserted into the appropriate buckle. 1.26 J84 - MEGANE SCENIC - NU692-7C:\Documentum\Checkout\NU692_7_T1-ENG.win 8/12/2004 16:55-page38
