6. Turn the socket and bulb assembly toBrakelights/Taillights, Rear turn signal
remove it. Carefully remove the bulblights, Rear side-marker lights
from its socket in the reflector by
gently pulling it straight back out of the
socket.
Taillights (Liftgate side), Reverse lights
7. Install the new bulb in the reverse order
of the removal procedure.
Side-turn signal lights
Duetothecomplexity and difficulty of
the procedure, the LED bulbs must be
replaced by an Authorized Mazda Dealer.
NOTE
LEDbulbreplacementis not possible because
it is built into the unit. Replace the unit.
Brakelights/Taillights, Rear turn signal3. Turn the socket and bulb assembly
lights, Rear side-marker lights, counterclockwise and remove it.
Taillights (Liftgate side), Reverse lights4. Disconnect the bulb from the socket.
1. Make sure the ignition is switched off,
and the headlight switch is off.
2. Remove the cover with a cloth-
wrapped flathead screwdriver to the
cover.
