2. For vehicles equipped with a sub- For vehicles not equipped with a sub-
woofer, uncouple the connector. woofer, loosen the hold-down bolt and
remove the spare tire.

NOTE
Extra strength may be required to uncouple theTosecurethe spare tire
connector. Be sure to squeeze the tab firmly.Perform the removal procedure in reverse.
3. For vehicles equipped with a sub- Secure the spare tire using the hold-down
woofer, loosen the hold-down bolt andbolt and tire clamp in the correct position
remove the woofer and spare tire. as illustrated.
NOTE
(5 Door)
Whenstoring a conventional tire in a vehicle
equipped with a sub-woofer, you cannot
connect the connector on the trunk board.
