Targa Roof Operating Tip ALWAYScloseandsecurethe roof when the vehicle is to be left unattended. H2406 Refitting a panel Before refitting, note that the panels are not interchangeable becausethe curvature at each side of the roof is more pronounced than in the centre. To ensure accurate refitting, the one rounded corner of the panel should be positioned at the front OUTSIDE corner. 1. Locate the hinges over the top of and through the slots in the wind deflector into their appropriate slots at the front of the roof. 2. Lowertheroof and, ensuring that the handle linkage is the correct way up, push the handle rearwards as if to lock. 3. Thehandleshouldnowbeengaged-ensuretheredbuttonis fully retracted, then attempt to open (tilt) the roof to check. 35
