l Desactive el sistema de alerta de tránsito cruzando atrás (RCTA) cuando arrastre un
trailer o cuando haya un accesorio como un portabicicletas en la parte trasera del
vehículo. De lo contrario, las ondas de radio emitidas por el radar se bloquearán
haciendo que el sistema no funcione normalmente.
l Los sensores de radar del sistema de alerta de tránsito cruzando atrás (RCTA) puede
estar reglamentados por las leyes relacionadas a ondas de radio del país donde se
conduce el vehículo. Los sensores en este sistema fueron aprobados para el uso en los
EE.UU.(incluyendo sus territorios), Canadá y México. Si un vehículo con un sistema
de alerta de tránsito cruzando atrás (RCTA) se conducido en un país diferente de
EE.UU., Canadá o México, el sistema debe desconectarse usando el interruptor de
monitoreo de punto ciego (BSM).
