cleaner assembly upward until the fasteners areB. Filter Cover
released from the retainer pins in the upper radiatorC. Filter
support. 7. To remove the filter from the LS3 and LS7 engines,
The LS3 engine has three retainer pins and theremove the six screws (A) securing the filter
LS7 and LS9 engines have two.cover (B) then pull away from to gain access to
the air filter (C).
To remove the filter assembly from the LS9 engine,
remove the six screws securing the filter cover.
The filter cover and the air filter are one piece.
