Tire labeling 329 Temperature Tire labeling GWARNING Overviewoftire labeling The temperature grade for this tire is estab- lished for a tire that is properly inflated and not overloaded. Excessive speed, underinfla- tion,orexcessiveloading,eitherseparatelyor in combination, can cause excessive heat build-up and possible tire failure. ThetemperaturegradesareA(thehighest),B, and C. These represent the tire's resistance tothegenerationofheatanditsabilitytodis- sipate heat when tested under controlled conditions on a specified indoor laboratory test wheel.
