1978 Volvo 242 244 245 Pull the handle on the rear side of the seat back sidewards, and fold the seat back forward and down so that it lies flat. The rear seat back and cushion are held automatically in their respective positions. When replacing the rear seat to its normal position, make sure the latches are securely locked and the seat belts lie on top of the seat back so they can easily be used.
