The seat belt will not fit properly. In an accident, the seat belt will not provide adequate protection andyoucouldbeseriously injured. Don't use the extender or choose oneIf the driver's seat belt is not fastened shorter in length if the distance whentheignition switch is turned to the between the extender's buckle and theONposition, the seat belt warning light center of the user's body is less thanwill remain on until the belt is fastened. 15cm(6in). If the system does not operate correctly, consult an Authorized Mazda Dealer. NOTE Whennotinuse,removetheseatbelt extender and store it in the vehicle. If the seat belt extender is left connected, the rear door cannot be opened because the seat belt does not fully retract and the seat belt warning light will not illuminate and function properly. 2-18 Form No.8T69-EA-04G
