Remove the one hex bolt (13 mm) visible through theCAUTION! plastic trim on the bottom side of the side bar, one hex bolt (13 mm) on the side of the side bar, and one hexDo not remove the head impact foam from the side bolt (13 mm) on top of the side bar.bars, as damage to the foam may result. NOTE: Pull side bar out horizontally when removing.NOTE: Store all of the mounting bolts in their original 3 threaded holes and tighten for safekeeping. 8. Remove the side bar assembly, and reattach the sport bar Velcro® covering. 9. To safely store the side bars in your vehicle, use four cinch straps (available from your authorized dealer). Attachthestrapsthroughtheslotslocatedonthefloor behind the folded rear seat at the front of the storage bin cover.
