DRIVEBELTS
WARNING
Be sure the ignition switch is in the “OFF” or
LOCKposition. Otherwise the cooling fan or the
engine may start to operate suddenly.
1. Visually inspect each belt for signs of unusual
wear, cuts, fraying or looseness. If the belt is in
poor condition or loose, have it replaced or ad-
justed by a NISSAN dealer or qualified work-
NDI1455 shop.
Intelligent Key 2. Have the belts checked regularly for condition

terminals as doing so could cause a malfunc-
tion.
• Makesurethatthe+sidefacesthebottomof
the case, as illustrated.
5. Install the lid in the reverse order of removal.
