286 4-5. Utilisation des systèmes d’aide à la conduite
■ Fonctionnement du signal sonore et distance jusqu’à l’obstacle
Un signal sonore retentit lorsque les capteurs sont en marche.
● Le signal sonore retentit de plus en plus vite à mesure que le véhicule
s’approche d’un obstacle. Lorsque le véhicule s’approche d’un obstacle à
partir de la distance suivante, le signal sonore retentit en continu:
Capteurs centraux avant: Environ 30 cm (1,0 ft.)
Capteurs ¾: Environ 30 cm (1,0 ft.)
Capteurs centraux arrière: Environ 35 cm (1,1 ft.)
● Lorsque 2 obstacles ou plus sont détectés simultanément, le signal sonore
se déclenche en fonction de l’obstacle le plus proche. Si l’un obstacle ou les
deux se trouvent dans la distance mentionnée ci-dessus, le signal sonore
répétera une longue tonalité suivie de bips rapides.
Portée de détection des capteurs
1Environ 100 cm (3,3 ft.)
2Environ 150 cm (4,9 ft.)
3Environ 50 cm (1,6 ft.)
4Environ 60 cm (2,0 ft.)
Le schéma illustre la portée de détection
des capteurs. Remarquez que les capteurs
ne peuvent détecter les obstacles extrê-
mement proches du véhicule.
La portée des capteurs peut varier en
fonction de la forme des obstacles, etc.
