Hydraulic Clutch WhentoCheckandWhattoUse The hydraulic clutch linkage in your vehicle is self-adjusting. The clutch master cylinder reservoir is ﬁlled with hydraulic clutch ﬂuid. The hydraulic clutch ﬂuid reservoir cap has this symbol on it. See Engine Compartment Overview on page 5-12 for reservoir location. It is not necessary to regularly check clutch ﬂuid unlessRefer to the Maintenance Schedule to determine how you suspect there is a leak in the system. Addingoften you should check the ﬂuid level in your clutch ﬂuid will not correct a leak. master cylinder reservoir and for the proper ﬂuid. See Aﬂuid loss in this system could indicate a problem.Recommended Fluids and Lubricants on page 6-12. Have the system inspected and repaired. 5-26
