08 Start og kørsel || Kickdown bruges, når der kræves maksimal acceleration, f.eks. ved overhaling. Sikkerhedsfunktion For at forhindre overdrejning af motoren har gearkassens styreprogram en nedgearings- beskyttelse, der forhindrer kickdown-funkti- onen. Geartronic tillader ikke nedgearing/kickdown, der medfører et så højt omdrejningstal, at motoren kan tage skade. Hvis føreren allige- vel forsøger at skifte ned ved højt omdrej- ningstal, sker der ikke noget – man bliver i det aktuelle gear. Ved kickdown kan bilen skifte et eller flere trin ad gangen alt efter motorens omdrejningstal. Bilen skifter op, når motoren når sit max. omdrejningstal. Det sker for at forhindre motorskader. Bugsering Hvis bilen skal bugseres – se vigtig informa- tion i afsnittet Bugsering (s. 310).
