qOperatingTipsforCDPlayer/In- l The CDrevolves at high speed within
DashCDChanger the unit. Defective (cracked or badly
Condensation phenomenon bent) CDs should never be used.
Immediately after turning on the heater
whenthevehicle is cold, the CD or
optical components (prism and lens) in the
CDplayer/In-dash CD changer may
becomeclouded with condensation. At
this time, the CD will eject immediately
whenplaced in the unit. A clouded CD
can be corrected simply by wiping it with
a soft cloth. Clouded optical components l Donotusenon-conventional discs
will clear naturally in about an hour. Wait such as heart-shaped, octagonal discs,
for normal operation to return before etc. The disc may not eject resulting in
attempting to use the unit. a malfunction.
Handling the CD player/In-dash CD
changer
Thefollowing precautions should be

l Donotspill any liquid on the audio
system.
l If the memory portion of the CD is
transparent or translucent, do not use
