Questa variazione di sforzo sul pedale aiuta il sistema di controllo del motore a determinare in che misura è stato premuto il pedale acceleratore per attuare il kickdown, e funge da controllo dell’attuazione del kickdown stesso. Partenza da fermo su una salita ripida Per affrontare una salita ripida partendo da fermo: 1. Premere il pedale del freno. 2. Selezionare la posizione D o M1, a seconda del carico e del grado di pendenza della strada. 3. Rilasciare il pedale del freno e, contemporaneamente, accelerare gradualmente. Discesa su strada ripida Quando si affronta una ripida discesa, scalare di marcia in funzione del carico e del grado di pendenza della strada. Scendere a velocità moderata, limitando l’uso dei freni per non surriscaldarli. 4-85
