Under kjøring Girkasse Fartsgrenser for skifte av gir I manuell modus er fartsgrensen satt til følgende for hvert gir: Giret blir skiftet når girspaken brukes innenfor området av fartsgrensen. Gir opp Det gires ikke opp mens bilens hastighet er lavere enn fartsgrensen. Gir ned Det gires ikke ned mens bilens hastighet er høyere enn fartsgrensen. Hvis bilens hastighet er over fartsgrensen og det ikke blir giret ned, blinker girstillingsindikatoren 2 ganger for å varsle føreren at det ikke kan gires ned. Nedgiring Det gires ned når gasspedalen trykket helt inn under kjøring. MERKNAD Det gires også ned ved akselerasjon når girkassen er låst i andregir. Automatisk nedgiring Det gires automatisk ned avhengig av bilens hastighet under nedbremsing. MERKNAD Hvis bilen stanses med girkassen låst i andregir, forblir girkassen i andregir. 4-83
