2002 VOLVO Cross Country 1. Pull the handle at the front of the cushion forward. 2. With both hands push the cushion rearward. 3. Push the cushion until it locks in place. Outboard integrated booster cushions - Lowering 1. Pull the handle at the front of the cushion forward. 2. Push the cushion forward/ downward. NOTE: The booster cushion must be completely lowered before the rear seat backrest can be folded down. pg. 13 Child safety The child should be properly seated on the booster cushion. The hip section of the three-point seat belt must fit snugly across the child's hips, not across the stomach.
