If the ﬁlter remains caked with dirt,off can cause you or others to be burned. a new ﬁlter is required. The air cleaner not only cleans the air; it helps To inspect or replace the engine air cleaner/ﬁlter,to stop ﬂame if the engine backﬁres. If it is do the following: not there and the engine backﬁres, you could 1. Unsnap both clips on the ﬁlter cover.be burned. Do not drive with it off, and be 2. Remove the cover. careful working on the engine with the air 3. Inspect or replace the engine air cleaner/ﬁlter.cleaner/ﬁlter off. 4. Replace the cover.
