When Driving Brake AUTOHOLD System is Turned On T o operate AUTOHOLD and hold the Press the AUTOHOLD switch and when brakes Depress the brake 1. pedal and bring the the AUTOHOLD standby indicator light vehicle to a complete stop. turns on, the AUTOHOLD function turns The AUT 2. OHOLD active indicator light on. in the instrument cluster turns on and AUTOHOLD standby the brakes are held. indicator light 3. The vehicle is held in its stopped position even with the brake pedal released. NOTE NOTE When all of the following conditions ar e When all of the following conditions ar e met, the AUTOHOLD standby indicator met, the AUTOHOLD operates and the light turns on when the AUTOHOLD brakes are held. switch is pressed and the AUTOHOLD function turns on.  The ignition is switched ON (engine is running).  The ignition is switched ON (engine is  running).
