Using other driving systems Using the rear differential lock system Automatic transmission STEP 1 4WD models only: Before using the rear differential lock sys- tem, try shifting the front drive control lever into L4. If this is not sufficient, use the rear differential lock system as well. STEP 2 Be sure to stop the wheels. STEP 3 Press the rear differential lock switch. STEP 4 Gently depress the accelerator pedal. 2 After the rear differential is locked, the indicator will come on. Unlock the rear differential as soon as the vehicle moves.W Manual transmission hen drivi STEP 1 4WD models only: Before using the rear differential lock sys-n g tem, try shifting the front drive control lever into L4. If this is not sufficient, use the rear differential lock system as well. STEP 2 Be sure to stop the wheels. STEP 3 Depress the clutch pedal. STEP 4 Press the rear differential lock switch.
