Die vordere und hintere Antriebswelle sind mechanisch miteinander verriegelt, sodass sich die Vorder- und Hinterräder zwangsweise mit derselben Drehzahl drehen. Die untere Ganggruppe bietet ein größeres Untersetzungsverhältnis und somit ein höheres Drehmoment an den Rädern.
