Type A Turn the temperature control dial over a range from the blue side (cool) to red side4 (warm) to regulate the temperature of airflow from the air outlets. ! Type B, C and D Turnthetemperaturecontroldial to set the (Bi-level): Instrument panel outlets and preferred interior temperature. With the foot outlets (Heat-def): Windshield defroster outlets,dial set to your preferred temperature, the foot outlets and both side outlets of thesystem automatically adjusts the tempera- instrument panel (Refer to “Defrosting”ture of air supplied from the outlets so that F4-10.) the preferred temperature is achieved and maintained. If the dial is turned fully counterclockwise, the system provides maximum cooling performance. If the dial is turned fully clockwise, the system provides maximum heating performance. NOTE . For type D, when the “DUAL” mode button is pressed, separate tempera- (Heat): Foot outlets, both side outlets of ture settings for the driver’s side and the instrument panel and some through passenger’s side can be enabled windshield defroster outlets (A small (DUAL mode). To cancel the DUAL amount of air flows to the windshield and(Defrost): Windshield defroster outletsmode, press the “DUAL” mode button again.
