Removing the headlight bulb CAUTION 1. Openthe engine hood.Aiming is not necessary after replacing 2. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.the bulb. When aiming adjustment is nec- essary, contact a NISSAN dealer. 3. DisconnecttheelectricalconnectorfromtheAdjusting the headlight aim rear end of the bulb. 4. Rotate the bulb retaining ring counterclock-If the headlights need aiming adjustment, please wise and remove A . see a NISSAN dealer. s 5. Pull out the headlight bulb and socket as anFOGLIGHTS(ifsoequipped) assembly. Do not shake or rotate the bulbReplacing the fog light bulb when removing it. Do not touch the glass envelope B . s CAUTION Replacing the headlight bulb● High pressure halogen gas is sealed 1. Insert the bulb and socket assembly into theinside the halogen bulb. The bulb may headlight. breakiftheglassenvelopeisscratched or the bulb is dropped. DONOTTOUCHTHEBULB. ● When handling the bulb, do not touch 2. Install and tighten the bulb retaining ring.the glass envelope. 3. Push the electrical connector into the bulb plastic base until it snaps and stops. 4. Connect the negative (-) battery cable. 5.
