CHANGING A FUSE CHANGING A FUSE
Before changing a fuse, it is necessary to:
F identify and rectify the cause of the failure,
F switch off all electrical consumers,
F immobilise the vehicle and switch off the ignition,
F identify the failed fuse using the tables and diagrams in the
following pages.
When working on a fuse, it is important to:
F use the special tweezer to extract the fuse from its housing.
F always replace the failed fuse with a fuse of the same rating
(same colour); the use of a fuse of a different rating may cause a
malfunction (risk of ire). TION
