Closing the bonnet
Before closing the bonnet, check to
makesurethatnothinghasbeenleft
in the engine compartment.
3 To close the bonnet, replace stay4
in its holder 5, hold the bonnet in
the middle and lower it 8 inches
(20 cm) above the closed position,
4 then releaseit. Itwill latch
automaticallyunderitsownweight.

Lift the bonnet, release stay 4 from
its holder 5and,foryourownsafety,
it is very importantto fix it into
retainer 3 in the bonnet.
Check that the bonnet is
correctly locked.
