ACTIV ATING THE FILTER ON THE ROUTE - 3 miles (5 km) or 6 miles (10 km) for a re gion with heav y traffi c,
- 12 miles (20 km) for a re gion with a normal level of traffi c,
- 60 miles (100 km) for long journeys (motorway).
