TRANSFER GEARBOX
Your vehicle is equipped with an electronically
controlled transfer gearbox allowing the driver
to select HIGH or LOW range driving gears.
HIGH range
HIGH range should be used for all normal road
driving and also for off-road driving across dry,
level terrain.
LOW range
LOW range should ONLY be used in situations LAN0249G
where low speed manoeuvering is necessary, While the vehicle is in HIGH range, the range
such as reversing a trailer or negotiating a indicator in the instrument pack display is

running, apply the foot brake and move the
automatic gearbox selector to N (neutral).
Press the transfer gear switch to select HIGH or
LOW and release it.
