R Wheels and tyres Positioning the pillar jack Rear jacking point WARNINGS 4 Make sure that you are familiar with operating the pillar jack before using it to raise a vehicle. Do not use the jack without the base fitted - the vehicle would not be properly supported and could cause personal injury. Make sure that the jacking peg is engaged in the jacking tube fully, as far 2 as the shoulder (arrowed in illustration below).
