Folding the rear seat backrest forward and back into place Fig. 95 Rear seat backrest: Release button 1; red mark 2. Fig. 96 In the luggage compartment: Release lever for the left 1 and right 2 sections of the rear seat backrest. ¤ Please first read and note the introductory information and heed the WARNINGS The rear seat backrest is divided into 2 sections. Each section of the rear seat backrest can be folded down individually to increase luggage space. Folding the rear seat backrest forward with the release button x Push the head restraint all the way downAd, justing the seating position. x Pull the release button⇒ fig. 95 (1) forward while folding the rear seat backrest forward. x The rear seat backrest is unlocked when the red mark on the button(2 ) is visible. x The rear seat backrest is released and can be folded forward. x If the rear backrest is folded down, no one, including children, may ride on the rear seat. Folding the rear seat backrest forward with the release lever in the luggage compartment x Push the head restraint all the way downAd, justing the seating position. x Open the luggage compartment lidLug, gage compartment lid. x Pull the remote release lever for the lef⇒ t fig. 96 (1) or right (2) rear seat backrest in the direction of the arrow. The unlocked section of the rear seat folds forward automatically. x Close the luggage compartment lid, if necessaryLu, ggage compartment lid.
