06 Start och körning Bromssystemet Bromskraftsförstärkning – EBA (Emergency Brake Assistance) Vid behov av en snabb inbromsning fås full bromseffekt ome- delbart. Funktionen känner av när en kraftig inbromsning görs genom att registrera hur snabbt bromspedalen trampas ner. Fullfölj inbromsningen utan att lätta på bromspedalen. Funktionen avbryts när trycket på bromspeda- len lättar. Funktionen är hela tiden aktiv. Den går inte att stänga av. VARNING Om BROMS- och ABS-varningssymbolerna är tända samtidigt, kan fel ha uppstått i bromssystemet. Om nivån i bromsvätske- behållaren vid detta tillfälle är normal, kör försiktigt till närmaste verkstad för kontroll av bromssystemet – en auktoriserad Volvo- verkstad rekommenderas. 06 Om bromsvätskan ligger under MIN-nivå i bromsvätskebehållaren bör inte bilen köras vidare utan att bromsvätska fyllts på. Anledningen till bromsvätskeförlusten måste kontrolleras. OBS När EBA aktiveras sjunker bromspedalen ner lite längre än vanligt, tryck (håll) ner bromspedalen så länge det behövs. Släpps bromspedalen upphör all inbromsning. 148
