DO-IT-YOURSELF SERVICE License plate light bulbs Front inte rior dome light Backup light a nd rear fog light in Open trunk lid. Carefully insert flat blade of trunk lid or rear lid (Wa gon/Avant) Remove screws and lens cap. screwdriver between right side edge of Open trunk lid. Replace bulb. housing and headliner (arrow) and pry Reinstall lens cap. out light housing. Pry out cover with flat blade of screwdriver. For vehicles with sliding/prop-up roof Turn bulb socket counterclockw ise insert blade of screw driver on left edge of and pull out. housing. Replace bulb. Pull light housing out of headliner. 1 – Backup light Remove bulb. 2 – Rear fog light Install new bulb. Insert bulb socket and turn clockwise Install housing at switch end first and to stop. then press other end in until the spring clip engages. 141
