Emergency power seat operation If, because of an electrical fault (e.g. a blown fuse - check fuses 23, 24 and 26), it is not possible to operate the power seat electrically, then it is possible to operate it manually, using the crank supplied with the tool kit. 1. To adjust backrest tilt: Insert key in small hole in the side casing and turn to alter tilt as desired. 2. Fore-aft position adjustment: Release the clips that secure the mat to the bottom of the seat; push mat to the side. Insert crank in tube until it "seats", then turn to reposition seat. pg. 80 Service diagnosis (cont.) Shiftlock release The gear selector is locked in the P position.
