TRANSPORTING OBJECTS IN THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT Always position the objects Locations for anchorage transported so that the largest points surface is against: These are for securing items transported in the luggage compartment (refer to the information on “Transporting objects in the luggage compartment”). – The back of the rear bench seat, for normal loading. – The folded down seat, for maxi- mum loading. The luggage should be loaded in such a way that no items will be thrown forward and strike the occupants if the driver has to brake suddenly.
