Bonnetopening OPENINGTHEBONNET Pull the bonnet release lever.Closing the bonnet Lowerthe bonnet slightly until a stop is felt. Then lift the bonnet up (to release the locking strut) before lowering fully. Whenthebonnetisapproximately300 mm from its closed position, push down CAREFULLY,usingthepalmsofbothhands positioned on the leading edge of the bonnet on either side of the radiator grill (where showninillustration). Check that the locks are FULLYengagedbyattemptingto lift the front edge of the bonnet, which should be free from all movement. Lift the bonnet safety catch and raise the bonnet. 132
