Folding head restraints back with Placing head restraints uprightRemoving and installing rear seat head
switch in the center console restraints* (vehicles with split rear
The rear seat head restraints can be folded bench seat* only)
backward for increased visibility.
Pull the head restraint forward until it
locks into position.
!Make sure the head restraints engage when 1Release catch
1Head restraint release switchplacing them upright. Otherwise their protective Removing rear seat head restraints
Switch on the ignition ( page 37).function cannot be assured.
Fold the backrest forward
Press the symbol-side on switch1 to ( page 277).
release the head restraints. Fold back head restraint ( page 130).
The head restraints will fold backward. Press head restraint release catch1
and pull the head restraints out of the
guides.
Fold the backrest back to its original
position.
