2003 Volvo S40 & V40 Replacing number plate lighting - V40 Switch off all lights and remove the ignition key. Remove the screws and take out the lamp housing. Replace bulb. Reinstall and screw the lamp housing into place again. NOTE: Other bulbs may be difficult for the owner to replace. Let your Volvo retailer replace these bulbs if necessary. pg. 95 Replacing fuses Replacing fuses If an electrical component fails to function, it is likely that a fuse has blown due to a temporary circuit overload.
