Fig. Ėęĕ Ready position Remove the end cap for receiving shaft A in the direction of arrow Ė › » Fig. ĖęĖ. Read and observe and on page ĖėĖ first. 0he tow bar must be set to the standby position » page ĖėĘ, A correctly set ready position. If this is not in the standby position, then it must be set to the Correctly adjusted standby position » Fig. Ėęĕ standby position » page Ėėė, Adjusting the ready position.  0he key A is in the unlocked position - the arrow on the key points to the symbol . Fitting  0he locking ball B can be pushed fully into the tow bar.Grip the tow bar from underneath » Fig. ĖęĖ and insert into the mounting re- › C cess in arrow direction ė until you hear it click into place » .  0he red marking on the hand wheel points to the white marking on the ball bar. 0he hand wheel B rotates back automatically and rests on the ball rod » .  0here is a clear gap of approx. ę mm D between the hand wheel and the 3ARNING tow bar. Do not hold the hand wheel with your hand when attaching the ball bar - 0he ball bar is thus set ready for installation. there is a risk of finger injury. CA10ION 3hen in the ready position, the key cannot be removed from the lock.CA10ION If the tow bar is not in the ready position, it cannot be fitted in the mounting recess. Note Store the cover of the mounting recess in a suitable place in the luggage com- partment store after removal. Hitch and trailerĖėĘ
