WAARSCHUWING
Niet met uw auto rijden als u uitlaatgas binnen in de auto ruikt:
Uitlaatgas is gevaarlijk. Dit gas bevat koolmonoxide (CO), dat kleurloos, geurloos
en giftig is. Bij inademing kan dit bewusteloosheid en verstikking veroorzaken. Als
u uitlaatgassen in de auto ruikt, alle ramen volledig openen en onmiddellijk contact
opnemen met een deskundige reparateur, bij voorkeur een offi ciële Mazda reparateur.
Laat de motor nooit in een afgesloten ruimte draaien:
Het laten draaien van de motor in een afgesloten ruimte, zoals een garage, is gevaarlijk.
Uitlaatgas dat giftige koolmonoxide bevat kan gemakkelijk het interieur binnendringen.
Dit kan bewusteloosheid en verstikking veroorzaken.
Open de ramen of stel de verwarming of de airconditioning af op aanvoer van verse
buitenlucht wanneer u de motor stationair laat draaien:
Uitlaatgas is gevaarlijk. Wanneer de auto met gesloten ramen stilstaat en u de
motor gedurende langere tijd zelfs in een open ruimte laat draaien, bestaat de kans
dat uitlaatgas, dat giftige koolmonoxide bevat, het interieur binnendringt. Dit kan
bewusteloosheid en verstikking veroorzaken.
Verwijder de sneeuw van de onderzijde en rondom uw auto, vooral rondom de uitlaat,
alvorens de motor te starten:
Het laten draaien van de motor wanneer de auto in diepe sneeuw geparkeerd staat
is gevaarlijk. De uitlaatpijp kan door de sneeuw geblokkeerd raken, waardoor het
uitlaatgas het interieur kan binnendringen. Aangezien uitlaatgas giftig koolmonoxide
bevat, kunnen de inzittenden van de auto bewusteloos of zelfs verstikt raken.
