This prevents unnecessary heating of the transmission oil. ● When towing, prepare as follows: Disengage the 4th gear (the indicator light on the instrument panel goes on). Engine warm-up - initial driving procedure Experience shoes that engines in vehicles driven short distances are subject to abnormally-rapid wear because the engine never reaches normal operating temperature. It is therefore beneficial to reach normal operating temperature as soon as possible.
