2007 Volvo XC70 WARNING! ● If your vehicle is equipped with an auxiliary seat (option or accessory), the tailgate must be fitted with a lock cylinder. Unlocking from the outside can then be carried out in the usual way (key in driver's door and/or remote control) and also by using the key in the tailgate. ● All rear seat backrests must be up when the auxiliary seat is being used. ● The auxiliary seat's head restraint(s) should be properly positioned to help provide the best support. ● The seat belt(s) should be properly fastened. ● The accessory steel cargo grid should never be mounted in the vehicle when the auxiliary seat is used. See page 104 for instructions on removing the steel grid. ● The luggage net should be retracted. ● The child safety lock in the tailgate should be on to prevent children from inadvertently opening the tailgate from the inside. ● Failure to follow each of the instructions above will increase the risk of occupants being injured during a sudden stop or collision. pg. 101 Interior Cargo area Holder for grocery bags (option) - Open the tailgate. - Lift the hatch in the cargo area floor to fold up the grocery bag holder. - Hang or secure your grocery bags by means of tensioning straps or holders.
