VEHICLE CARE ENGINE OIL FILT ER Fill the engine with oil. Do not Fill engine with appropriate amount overfill. Always check engine oil level of engine oil. with dipstick as described on page 105. Run engine at various speeds for Engine oil capacity with filter change: three to fiv e minutes and check for leaks. 5.0 qts./4.5 Liters, without filter change: Check dipstick for correct oil level, 4.5 qts./4.o Liters. top off if necessary. Local zoning ordinances or environmen- tal regulations will tell you how you can dispose of it. Should the discarding of the old oil present a problem to you, we suggest you have the oil changed at your dealer or a service station. Changing the oil filte r The oil filter should be changed at the intervals listed in your Maintenance booklet. Remove old oil filter element and discard. Lightly coat seal of new filter ele- ment with oil. Screw on filter element and hand- tighten according to manufacturer's instructions on the carton or on the filter element. Always heed WA RNINGS on page 100 and 102 108
