Instrument brightness control Theinstrumentbrightnesscontrolswitchcanbe operated when the ignition switch is in the ON position. When the switch is operated, the dot matrix liquid crystal display switches to the brightness adjustment mode. Push the upper switchAto brighten the s instrument panel lights. The bar 1 moves to s the + side. When reaching the maximum bright- ness, “MAX” appears on the display 2 . s Pushthelowerswitch B todimtheinstrument s SIC3271 panel lights. The bar 1 moves to the 2 side. s Whenreaching the minimum brightness, “MIN”TURN SIGNAL SWITCH appears on the display 3 . However, “MIN” s 1 Turn signal does not appear during the nighttime.s The dot matrix liquid crystal display returns toMovethelever up or down to signal the turning the normal display under the following condi-direction. When the turn is completed, the turn tions: signals cancel automatically. ● when the instrument brightness control2 Lane change signal switch is not operated for more than 5s seconds. To indicate a lane change, move the lever up or down to the point where lights begin flashing. ● whenthesideorfrontofthe switch or switch on the right side of the com- bination meter panel is pushed.
