1978 Volvo 242 244 245 Parking brake reminder light The reminder light PARKING BRAKE on the instrument panel comes on whenever the parking brake lever is not fully released and the ignition is on. pg. 9 Lighting Headlights and position lights All lights off Parking lights on Headlights and parking lights on Switch from upper to lower beams, and vice versa, by moving the turn signal switch lever on the left side of the steering column towards the steering wheel.
