Before Driving Doors and Locks Operation from outside Rear Door Child Safety Locks T o lock any door with the door-lock knob These locks are intended to help prevent from the outside, press the door-lock children from accidentally opening the knob to the lock position and close the rear doors. Use them on both rear doors door (holding the door handle in the open whenever a child rides in the rear seat of position is not required). the vehicle. This does not operate the other door locks. If you slide the child safety lock to the Door-lock knob lock position before closing that door, the door cannot be opened from the inside. The door can only be opened by pulling the outside handle.
